平成13年3月に大阪大学大学院医学系研究科・生体制御医学専攻博士課程を修了し博士号（医学）を取得。
平成14年4月より微生物病研究所・分子遺伝研究分野にて助手を経て、平成19年4月より助教に就任、また同年に附属感染症DNAチップ開発センターに助教として従事し、平成29年4月からは同研究所・遺伝情報実験センター・ゲノム解析室へ着任、一貫して感染症・免疫に関わる遺伝子発現解析法を用いた研究を行ってきた。

現在は

 2019年4月より 先導的学際研究機構, 生命医科学融合フロンティア研究部門, 兼任教員 

 2019年11月より　免疫学フロンティア研究センター・ヒト免疫学（単一細胞ゲノミクス）独立准教授、 

 2023年7月より 先端モダリティ・ドラッグデリバリーシステム研究センター, 臨床研究チーム, 兼任教員 

 2021年4月より 大阪大学大学院医学系研究科・大阪大学感染症総合教育研究拠点, 兼任教員 

 として従事

In March 2001, he completed the doctoral course at the Department of Bioregulation Medicine, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, and obtained a doctorate (medicine).
After working as an assistant professor at the Institute for Microbial Diseases and Molecular Genetics Research in April 2002, he became an assistant professor in April 2007, and in the same year he was engaged as an assistant professor at the Infectious Diseases DNA Chip Development Center. Since April, I have been assigned to the Institute for Genetic Information Experiments and Genome Analysis Office, and have consistently conducted research using gene expression analysis methods related to infectious diseases and immunity.

Currently, from November 1st year of Reiwa, an independent associate professor of human immunology (single cell genomics) at the Center for Immunology Frontier Research, and from April 3rd year of Reiwa, a comprehensive education and research center for infectious diseases. Engaged as a specially appointed associate professor (full-time) (concurrent post).
